Creative Aging Inkblot Workshop: Part Two, Looking

While waiting for inkblots to dry, participants in the Inkblot workshop played a Looking game. With already made and dry inkblots, and a deck of ten question cards, people took turns answering questions like:

The inkblots are acts auditioning for your small circus. Trapezists, animals, clowns…Which act do you choose? What it it?

Or, The inkblots are planets, and you discover one of them in a faraway solar system. What is it like? Is there life there? Would you want to visit this planet?

Participants play, and laugh, but as they do, they look, and model for each other their looking process. The abstract inkblots start to reveal creatures, figures, monsters, landscapes, plants, spaceships…
